Each delivers precise driving dynamics for easy travelling near East Stroudsburg, Stroudsburg, Easton, Brodheadsville, and Saylorsburg. Yet which is right for you? You can see both in person at Ray Price Mazda. For now, though, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect from each Mazda SUV!

MAZDA CX-5 vs MAZDA CX-30: Performance Attributes

There are two engines available for both the Mazda CX-5 and the Mazda CX-30. So, if you want to upgrade the power and immediacy of your SUV while you lean on the gas pedal, you can easily do so. For the Mazda CX-5, the standard engine is a Skyactiv®-G 2.5L 4-cylinder that makes 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful option is this same engine with the addition of a turbocharger. With the turbocharger, you can expect 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.

The Mazda CX-30 is nearly identical in terms of performance. The base engine is a Skyactiv®-G 2.5L 4-cylinder, the same as in the Mazda CX-5 and makes 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. And if you want the turbocharged engine, the output measures 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.

Both SUVs share a Skyactiv®-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission, too!

MAZDA CX-5 vs MAZDA CX-30: Interior Space

While the performance of the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-30 are nearly identical, the interior space isn't. Both SUVs are roomy and will support families or daily commuting duties, but the Mazda CX-5 is a larger vehicle, and this is reflected in the cabin. The interior for the Mazda CX-5 comes in at 39.3 inches of headroom in the front and 39 inches in the rear. Legroom measures 41 inches up front and 39.6 inches in the rear. The seats themselves have some charming color options, too, such as Black leather, Red leather, and Caturra Brown Nappa leather.

Lastly, the Mazda CX-5 affords 30.9 cubic feet of cargo behind the second row and 59.6 cubic feet behind the first row.

How does the Mazda CX-30 measure up? Here's the passenger room in each row:

  • 38.1 inches of front headroom
  • 38.3 inches of rear headroom
  • 36.3 inches of rear legroom

The cargo capacity behind the second row measures 20.2 cubic feet while the interior color schemes for the seats include White leather, Black leather, and Greige leatherette, among others.
