2017 Mazda3: Outer Shell and Overview

This year, Mazda streamlined the Mazda3's trim titles down to three straightforward levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Each trim seats five in two rows. Those after added cargo room will be interested in the Mazda3 Hatchback which allots 20.2 cubic feet with all the seats in place.

While some small tweaks were made to the positioning of the grille and headlamps to make the car's expression more consistent with the front end of the new Mazda CX-3, at first glance, the refreshed Mazda3's outer design is definitely recognizable. This new Mazda3 iteration additionally features full LED lighting for headlamps and tail lamps.

When equipped with the optional 6-speed automatic, the Mazda3 returns impressive EPA estimates of 28 MPG/37 MPG for city/highway driving.
